Rep. Halims Congratulates Kogi APC On Hitch Free Convention, Hails Gov. Bello As Best Security Governor

The Honorable Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has congratulated the newly elected officials of Kogi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC over a hitch free convention.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Federal Lawmaker hailed Governor Yahaya Bello’s security architecture which was not only responsible for the peaceful process but the reason the State has remained the most peaceful state in the country.
According to him, security of lives and property is the first responsibility of a responsible government and the Governor have been at his best in this as well as good governance to the people of the State.
While congratulating the elected Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello and his entire State Working Committee(SWC), Rep. Halims specially congratulated the State Party Secretary, Hon. Joshua Ojonugwa, the Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Alfa and the State Women Leader, Hajiya Hauwau Abubakar on their emergence, urging them to put aside divisive counsels and focus on consolidating on the gains of the party.
He thereafter commended the convention committee, critical/major Stakeholders, delegates and party faithfuls for conducting themselves throughout the process.
Thereafter, Rep. Halims called on the electorates to keep faith with the Government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and other APC officials in their quest to keep delivering dividends of democracy to the people adding that, Leadership is all about service and serving the people is a communion they won’t renege.
