Chairman, SEA Cares Foundation Commends Gov. Bello , for Constructing Ganaja Road.
The Chairman, SEA Cares Foundation, Sanni Abdulraheem Egidi, has attributed the ongoing grading and rehabilitation of the Ganaja Primary School road to the passion Gov. Yahaya Bello has towards alleviating the sufferings of the people.
The Chairman made the disclosure in a chat with Newsmen on the road rehabilitation, described the jubilation and excitement shown by the residents as expected, said his efforts to draw the attention of Government in fixing the roads also underscored his passion for the people of Ganaja.
Recalled that there has been jubilation by the people living in around Ganaja Primary School road to High tension in Ganaja following the massive Grading and rehabilitation of their roads by Gov. Bello and facilitated by the Chairman SEA Cares Foundation.
Also recall that after the subsiding of the rains, the Ganaja Primary School road remained unmotorable with residents, particularly motorists experiencing untold hardship due to broken down of vehicles and daily repairs.
That negative trend have however seem to be a thing of the past as the State Government, through the Chairman SEA Cares Foundation took the bold Initiative to fix the road.
According to the Chairman SEA Cares Foundation, the place of Ganaja in the place of Ajaokuta and its closeness to Lokoja places so much interest on Government to improve on their Infrastructure.
Aside helping to facilitate the road repairs, Sanni Abdulraheem, added that he has also through the present administration ensured the sinking of boreholes and given of transformers to Ganaja community, assured that plans of development for the area would be sustained in and outside Political office.
He called on the people to be conscious of people who even outside Political office have associated themselves with the plight of Ganaja people, explaining that he has shown that he does not have to be in a political office before he can make interventions in the lives of the people.
The Chairman SEA Cares Foundation however assured that more development for the area would be witnessed if a larger Political platform present itself for him, disclosing that Ganaja area stands to benefit the more in the future if representatives had worked closely with the State Government in meeting their yearning and aspiration.
The Chairman SEA, called on the people to in the next dispensation look out for people who have shown passion for development of the area, but cautioned against ethnic Politics which he opined is divisive and has not helped the Federal Constituency.
Sanni called on the people to rally round individuals with genuine interest for the Federal Constituency so that they can experience the needed development, lamented that Ganaja has lagged behind in the needed development owing to lukewarm attitude of people who ought to bring there plights to the doorsteps of Government but have failed to do so.
The Chairman listed plans like opening up a market in Ganaja that would compete favourably with the market in Lokoja as well as other amenities that would make lives comfortable for the people as topmost on his mind, solicited the Corporate support of the people in supporting Gov. Bello’s administration.
The SEA Chairman called on the people to close ranks as we approach 2023 for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency to take its rightful place amongst comity of constituencies as regards development, thanked Gov. Bello for the grading of the road by the primary school.
