Rep. Halims Sympathizes With Kogi Speaker, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, Over Wife’s Death

The Honorable Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has sent his heartfelt condolences to the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, over the death of his wife, Pastor Mrs Esther Kolawole.
The Federal Lawmaker in a condolence message issued by his Coordinator of Information, Visual and Strategic Operations, Muhammed Nasiru, described the death as a Statewide shock and urged the Legislator to take heart in this trying moment.
According to him, the deceased was a good wife, a community builder, an inspirer and an outstanding mother whose legacy was her motherly role in stabilizing the State as well as love for children as could be attested to by the virtue of responsible children she has raised of her own and bequeathed the people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of the State.
Hon. Halims urged the Speaker to take solace in the fact that Pastor Esther Kolawole didn’t only added value to him through her peace advocacy and community services but lived a life of service to both God and humanity.
He said only God knows why she had to transit into the world beyond at the tale end of the year when people are already planning for the coming year adding that God’s plan is forever the best for all his creation.
He thereafter prayed God to grant the Speaker’s families, Honorable Members and forum of wives of Kogi State House of Assembly Members, Staff of Kogi State House of Assembly and friends the fortitude to bear the great loss.
