NSCDC female squad storms kogi schools for Advocacy, sensitisation.
Against the backdrop of the Commandant General of NSCDC directives to all states Commandants to establish female squad to provide maximum security in schools, the squad have stormed some schools in kogi to carry out their mandate.
The combined officers from the kogi state command and the female General squad command visited Govt. Science Secondary school and Muslim community Secondary school, Lokoja, and educated teachers , students and indeed the entire school communities on the need for synergy and mutual cooperation. for the protection and safeguard of schools against external security threats.
However, the state Commandant, Suleiman Ibrahim marafa enjoined the squad to exhibit at all times professionalism in order to develop latest techniques in intelligence gathering to take the fight to the criminals hide outs before wrecking havoc.
He called on the stakeholders in the Schools management across the state to always divulge useful, timely and credible information to the squad to ensure peace and tranquility within the school corridors.
