Stallion Times holds 2 Day workshop for CSO, Journalists on Budget Tracking in Kogi.
In its avowed commitment to transparency and accountability, through budget making and implementation, the Stallion times has commenced Two day workshop for Civil society Organisations and working Journalists in Lokoja , kogi state capital.
Addressing the participants on Tuesday , through his presentation on the Use of Media for effective Advocacy, the Managing Director and Editor in Chief ,Ahmed Isiyaku , said state and non state actors often use media to build Agenda over time for its eventual manifestation.
He said most Media Organisations do play up repeatedly issues which will be planted and germinated in the hearts of their audiences.
In his presentation, Henry Omokhaye of Budgit foundation, a resource person, spoke on budget process, approval , implementation and ”Tracking Constituency projects and procedures”.
The workshop was organised by Stallion Times Media Services, in conjunction with Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism with founding by MacArthur Foundation.
