As a measure to forestall the aftermath effects of flood that has ravaged many communities and displaced huge numbers of people in Omala Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has officially flagged off drugs and other medical consumables needed to restore the health of possibly ailing persons as a result of the flood to avoid escalation or spread of diseases
The Chief Executive however, called on the affected public to make themselves available for the services free of charge, as he praised the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for coming in to help quell the hardship occasion by the natural disaster.
In their separate remarks, Director of Local Government, Mr. Solomon Aku and the H.O.D Health, Mrs Jumai Edogbo commended the government for the initiative and promised that justice will be done to the relief materials by targeting the real beneficiaries, thanked the Chairman for always prioritizing the interest of his people.
Nursing mothers who were on ground at the health center in Abejukolo for their routine immunization enjoyed the benevolence of the Executive Chairman as he donated cash monies to them.
