After some failed relationships, i came to my senses to return to God for a Serah of Abraham.
I had taken three months Marriage training at Living Faith church, Raji Oba street, Dopemu, Lagos.
On the day of graduation, the Presiding Bishop, David Olaniyi Oyedepo, did humourously instructed us to approach our course mates or heed straight to the village as occasion may demand.
Armed with the divine instruction, i packed my luggage and straight to the village the following day.
At the Abejukolo Garage, while i was waiting to catch a vehicle to Bagana, my beloved hometown, my niece Joseph Ojonugwa Sunday, spotted me from a distance.
After much banters, she probed reason for my going home. I told her ,my going home is to honour my mother, who had been on head to marry from home.
She said Ok, she will be in the village with me tomorrow which was our market day.
The day coincided with local Government Chairmanship primary election between Dr. Moses Atakpa and his rivals.
This was April 1996, i cant remember precisely the date.
While having a nice time in my room with a friend, who came from Kano, Gabriel Moni Ibrahim, suddenly, my niece and five of her friends, classmates, knocked the door and they entered one after the other.
Sister Dorcas Alih was the last to enter. As soon as her legs and body entered the room, i heard a clear and audible voice”THIS IS YOUR WIFE” . And in my humorous self, i wouldn’t allow the opportunity to slip through my fingers, and instantly i told her* YOU ARE MY WIFE.
She replied, where did i know her from. And i said, as soon as you entered, a divine voice echoes to me, that you are my wife, and this was the reason i came.
In the process of introduction, my beloved mother came in as if she was waiting for the opportunity and i broke the news to her. Initially, she dismissed it with the wave of hands. And six months later , we became husband and wife.
Although, not free from twist and turns, we are sailing with undeniable proofs of God.
I as a gift to my aged parents who never believed to have me again, My Jehovah God Almighty has enlarged my coast with innumerable company of giants.
I return all thanks and praises to him in this 26 years Journey and still counting.
I invoke the spirit of the Almighty God to shower his blessings on every one that has been a blessing to us a family in this Journey.
