DG SFTAS BAGS AWARD FOR HUMANITARIAN SERVICE.

The Director General, State Fiscal Transparency Accountability and Sustainability Project ( SFTAS) Siraj Sa’id, has been confered with an African Humanitarian Award of Excellence and Partnership. He has also been recognized as an Ambassador of Peace by the Mellineum African Global Initiative recently.

The Awards were in recognition of his selfless services to humanity, Education Development, Poverty eradication and above all, Promotion of Peace and moral excellence.

The Director General,in his response, thanked MAGI for finding him worthy of the Awards adding that the Awards will encourage him to do more.

He donated the sum of # 200,000( Two hundred thousand naira) to the organization and also promise to sponsor youths that are ready for skills acquisition in various capacities.

Siraj Sa’id also announced that Niger State through SFTAS , recently received an award of Excellence.

Further more, the Director General gave kudos to Mellineum African Global Initiative for it’s relentless efforts at ensuring continuous collaboration with the State Government as 120 youths are graduating in different Fields including tailoring, ICT, shoe and bag making, Interior design, to mention a few.

The constant and continuous training organised by MAGI ,has succeeded in changing the narrative from redundancy to practical acquisition of skills that has changed since mindset and situation of our youths who are privileged to have benefited from this organization training , he added.

He therefore called on youths generally to see beyond their pleasure of begging around for stipends while being used as thugs to constitute a nuisance and seek to understand the good plans government has for them.

He also thanked the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello for providing an enabling environment and necessary assistance in the area of infrastructure.
