Against the backdrop of renewed kidnapping, armed robbery and other criminality along Abejukolo Bagana Road, the Kogi East Security Network KESN has called on all Omala Sons and daughters and indeed all lovers of peace and Security to donate handsomely to the construction of a security outpost at Ojuwo Igbone to enable the Vigilantes to effectively discharge their duties.
The KESN noted that the fund raising has become necessary because of the amount of money involved in the erection of the security post , stressing that the security post will aid surveillance to tackle the wave of criminality on the road to Bagana Market which has suffered sufficient disaster in the past years.
According to Dr. Omakoji Oyigwu, the estimate for the project is three hundred and eighty five thousand eight hundred naira N385,800).
He said the amount is to cover the purchase of materials and the cost of labour.
To this end , Ife sons and daughters are appealed to contribute their widows mite towards the construction of the community security post at Ojuwo Ugbone for a safer Idrisu-Bagana road .
Oyigwu added that any willing sons and daughters of Ife and indeed the entire Igala Kingdom can Pick any of the items or its monetary equivalent in the budget for onward delivery to the supervisor of the project.
He commended those who have responded to this clarion call , while expecting more donations from all and sundry to end carnage in Bagana and its environs .
