Ibadan based businessman agonizes over wife’s escape abroad for alleged threat to children’s lives.
An Ibadan based businessman, Dr Akeem Olayinka-martins, has expressed agony over his wife’s refusal to return home from a  vacation over alleged threat to the lives of  their children.
Olayinka-martins told our Correspondent that his wife, Funmilayo Olayinka-martins
and three of their children Abisola, Abiodun and Omotara all travelled to Uk on holiday few weeks after his mother, a prominent traditionalist passed away.
“During the funeral rites, one of our daughters, who was a virgin was scheduled to take over the stool as the custodian of the tradition to which my wife vehemently disagreed.
She claimed that the practice was archaic, and against her religious beliefs as a devoted Christian and Deaconess in Christ Apostolic Church, CAC.
“There is so much pressure on me to produce the girl and my visit to Uk for this purpose did not yield any result.
” I have since been lost in thought as to what to do, he said tearfully.
