A group known as Kogi Conscience KC has thrown its weight behind the candidacy of Dr Sam Omale, candidate of Young Peoples Party YPP in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi state.
Speaking to Journalists on Friday in Lokoja, the leader of the group, Hon. Musa Enesi said the decision to canvass support for Dr. Sam Omale was hinged on his capacity and sound Academic background to govern the state to the promised land.
Hon Enesi noted that Dr.Sam would leverage on his sound Academic background and knowledge of international relations to attract foreign direct investment for the industrial development of the state.
According to him, the group which has its membership drawn from the three Senatorial Districts of the state will embark on door to door campaign to spread the gospel of the Governorship candidate of the party for total Victory come November 11 2023 Governorship election in the state.
He called on the people of the state to join hands with the group to install the YPP Governorship candidate as the next Governor of Kogi State to ensure an all round development.
Other members of the Executive of the group in their separate remarks eulogised the YPP Governorship candidate for his determination to bring his years of experience to bear in the overall development of the state and called on Kogites to support his candidature by voting overwhelmingly for his success at the November 11 Governorship polls
