Kogi Guber: Dino confident of winning , as Local Government campaign council constituted.

In a bid to have seamless campaign strategy that will unseat the ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has inaugurated the local Government campaign Councils for the 21 LGA’s Party chairmen in kogi state.
This is just as the Party assured of using its already established structures across the state to sting the opponents with landmark winning in the forthcoming election.

While inaugurating the committee on Thursday at the Party Secretariat in Lokoja, the Caretaker chairman for Kogi, Senator Philip Aduda tasks members to work in synergy with state campaign council and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that PDP wins the November 11, 2023 governorship election.
Senator Aduda challenged the local Government campaign council to leverage on their closeness to the people at the grassroots using ineptitude of the present APC government as campaign pitch to woo electorate to the party.
The former Senator, who represented FCT charged the people to go to the hintherland and preach the gospel of PDP while it was in power in the state to justapose their present predicament in the hands of the ruling APC.
” Our utmost goal is to use our closeness with the people to sell our party to them. You are expected to capture the grassroots and ensure that kogi is won for PDP
” I charge you to go back to various local Government Areas to commence aggressive campaign immediately with the the operation deliver your unit, ward and Local government in mind. Our party is known for selfless service to the people and the events in the last seven years have provided fruits for the party to harness as a result of the failure of APC to meet expectations of the people.
In a remark, the standard bearer of the party , Senator Dino Melaye noted that struggle by the PDP is about the destiny of the people of the state and not essentially about Dino Melaye, but about freeing kogi from claws of dictator , deprivation and poverty hoisted on the people by a ruderless administration.
Dino maintained that the PDP government would restore trust and confidence of the people in their government urge them to go on in their campaign with “one kogi one destiny’ slogan
He assured that with the strategic structures of the party in the state, if only every one will do his or her role effectively, the election is as good as being won.
He lamented at the failure of the APC government to provide essential necessities of lives, but rather increase their misery , assured the people that the PDP would build new kogi of their dream of the people.
Speaking for the members of the committee, Chairman of the local government chairmen, Hon. Olajide Johnson thanked the acting state chairman, senator Aduda for his immense contribution to reposition the party to win the election.
He assured that the campaign council would live no stone unturned to Marshall out campaign strategies that will galvanise the party for success.
Notable chieftains of the party at the inauguration include: the Deputy Governorship candidate, Hajia Habibat Mohammed Deen, Kola Olagbondion, former spokesperson of the Party, Noah Oyodo, DG state campaign council, former speaker, kogi state House of Assembly, Alfa Imam, and hosts of others.
