APC group gets new leadership, begins grassroots mobilization ahead 2027

Ahead of the 2027 general elections , the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM), has inaugurated its national, zonal and state executive members

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Salisu Magaji, the national chairman of the movement, said the expectation of the newly inaugurated members would be to mobilize at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 elections.

ā€œThe expectations are very clear. We are to mobilize for the party at the grassroots. We have started working towards the 2027 elections,ā€ he said.

On his part, the new national secretary, Lloyd Butches Nwosu said, “We are a major pillar of our great party, as you can see. All politics they say his local and we are the grassroot of the APC, we own the party. We can no longer be ignored. In 2027 i expect our members to be majorly represented in the major public offices of this country.”

Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, deputy national chairman for south, said: ā€œWe have come as a movement to work together for the government of President Bola Tinubu and his Vice. So we have come to work together not as a support movement as it used to be before but a movement to hit the goals.ā€

National director for youth directorate, said: ā€œThis movement would in the coming days and months spread into all nook and crannies of Nigeria with a wide structure from the ward to the local government, to the constituency, to the state where by we will be able to have a database of people of real people that will be interested to work for APC in the coming election not just for 2027 election.ā€

Kolawole Okedara, the movementā€™s national vice chairman, said, ā€œNigerians especially members of CAGraM across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria are now the new baby that has come to revive, rebuild and reposition APC to greater heights. Nigerians should have faith and keep supporting the present administration of President Bola Tinubu.ā€
