Easter: Emulate christ’ life of sacrifice, Rector NKFI urges faithfuls
In commemorating this years Easter celebration, the Rector Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has urged faithfuls to emulate the sacrificial lifestyle of Jesus Christ and offer selfless service to the nation in their respective corners.
The Rector made this known on a Sunday in a special Easter message on behalf of the Institution’s Governing council, management, staff and students where he mentioned that this year’s Eater celebration was remarkable and significant and a pointer to hope.
He noted that faithfuls were reminded of what the season truly represented stating that God’s love for humanity and his desire to re align humanity to himself spurred Jesus’ death and sacrifices noting that humanity’s response to God’s love must be a fervent expression of same to their fellow mankind.
The Rector felicitated with Christians in Kogi state and across Nigeria expressing that during the festivity and the holiday they should extend an arm of love and kindness to people and ensure that they take cognisance of the needy
The Rector urged faithfuls to use such period to render prayers for the peace of the nation and the strengthening of the leaders Adding that special prayers should be offered for leaders across board for God to bestow with wisdom for quality leadership that will transform our nation.
