Gov’ Ododo Sets to Escalate Opportunities for Rural Youths through Sports.

Kogi state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Hon Monday A Anyebe has assured the youth of the readiness of the present administration to develop sporting activities in the rural areas to improve the social economic potentials of the youths.
Hon Monday A Anyebe disclosed this during a solidarity football March organized in honour of Him and the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in their support for the APC Government by Ogene Iga Community, in Olamaboro Local Government Area, the homestead of the commissioner Area during the Easter celebration.
Hon Monday A Anyebe said the government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is a Government of the people by the people and for the people adding that the present administration has total passion for the growth of Youth and the welfare of the citizens of the state.
The Commissioner said Government of Ahmed Usman Ododo will be committed to the enhancement of the youth programmes especially the talented who are interested in learning skills and improving their livelihoods.
The Commissioner added that under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo Administration rural areas in the state will be given full support in the area of sports Development through exposure to the Sporting activities by the present Government.
He called on the people of the community and entire Olamaboro Local Government Area to continue to support the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the progress and development of the area and the state in general.
The Commissioner expressed appreciation to the people of Ogene Iga Community especially the Youths for organising the event in honour of him and that government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo assured of its readiness to partner with them towards ensuring the growth of sporting activities in the area and called on them not to relent in their efforts.
Speaking,on behalf of people, the community Leader of Ogene Iga Community Hon Sylvester Anyebe said the programme was organized to honour the commissioner for his support to the community so far for the few months in office.
Hon. Sylvester Anyebe said the commissioner has done well and the people of the community are happy with him and the government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo Administration.
The Community Leader appealed to the people of the community and the people of Olamaboro Local Government Area to continue in their support to the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and restated their support and loyalty to the commissioner at all times.
Also the youth of Agbaduma community in Olamaboro Local Government Area received the commissioner for a thank you visit described the efforts of the commissioner so far in the area of Youth empowerment as impressive.
Present at the event is the transition chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area Hon Ameh Williams who is from that community Agbaduma.
The Commissioner during the Easter celebration also visited some traditional rulers in the local Government. They include Ojibo Iga of Iga, chief Matthew Ekele, among others
