Kogi East Stakeholders’ Media Interaction: Dr. Ogbo thumps Up for Vote of Confidence on Gov’ Ododo, Ex. Gov’ Bello.

Against the backdrop of the outcome of the recent Kogi East Stakeholders’ Media Interaction,
Dr. Usman Ogbo, has applauded them for the wisdom and forthrightness in passing  vote of confidence on Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Dr. Ogbo made the commendation on Friday in Lokoja.
He noted that the open support declared by the stakeholders in the wake of the politicised media trial and persecution of the former Governor was an indication of their commitment to fairness, Justice and the rule of law.
He described the stakeholders as men of seasoned experience with honest dispositions in various spheres of human endeavours.
He  stressed that the position canvassed by these  men and women should be accorded all the respect it deserves in the interest of peace and development of Kogi East in particular and the State as a whole.
He said, the public declaration by the Kogi East Stakeholders is timely, justifiable to nib in the bud  the action of the new generation social media bugs whose aim is to drag the good people of Kogi East into political extinction in the scheme of things in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
Dr. Ogbo opined that, any political endeavours without sacrifice and tolerance of divergent opinions is dangerously self-serving and counterproductive in all ramifications with glaring future consequences that are capable of consuming the zone.
He cautioned the people  not  allowed a goat to suffer parturition on its tether while there is an adult at home, and commended the stakeholders for rising to the occasion.
He commended the stakeholders who came out to disabuse  the minds of well meaning people of Kogi East against baseless and fake information being peddled by android phone propelled generation.
He appealed to the elders not to be perturbed by whatever insult or assault thrown in their direction as theirs was akin to the missions of most men of God in the holy books who were roundly mocked by their people, but never relented until truth prevailed.
Dr Usman, therefore, charged the stakeholders to continue to speak the truth about issues concerning the State in the interest of unity, peace and development.
Dr. Ogbo commended  Governor Ododo for sustaining the laudable legacies of his immediate predecessor as he recently marked 100 days in office which is  a clear  gains  of continuity of Government in Kogi State.
Dr. Ogbo described former Governor Bello as a person of significant value who should be supported by all Kogi people for daring to project Kogi State on the national political discourse and further commitment to the laudable projects his administration bequeathed to  the state.
He said , what the former Governor had done for the state, was a testimony to his doggedness and belief that the ethnic minorities in the country have equal stakes with the majorities tribes  in the affairs of the Nation
Dr Usman  commended the Governor, Usman Ododo, for the solid foundation and clear direction so far projected in the Continuity and Consolidation Project.
He expressed confidence that, even though the time and energy required for sustainable governance is receiving distractions through needless litigation at the electoral tribunal, he was optimistic that the matter would be resolved in the interest of good governance under the leadership of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He, therefore, appealed to all indigenes of Kogi State to rally round the leadership of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for peace, unity, orderliness and development of Kogi State.
