In light of the tribunal judgement, I join other kogians to congratulate you, our Executive Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,on the confirmation of your victory by the election tribunal.
This victory has become necessary to enable you concentrate on your well-thought out plans for Kogi State.
Your Excellency Sir, we have seen from your four months governance that you meant well for every part of the state. You are a governor with no sentiments, and with passion for the good of all. You have proven that it is unacceptable to be insensitive to the plights of one another just because of difference in our tribal affiliations.
You are non-vindictive and have shown that politics should not divide us and override memories of history which we share as brothers and sisters.
You are working hard to glue the state to achieve a peaceful,united and harmonious society of people who are united despite our diversity.
You have given a lot of people, a lot of reasons to look beyond grievances, dissatisfactions and misunderstandings for a future of hope and have convinced them to embrace brotherhood based on respect, tolerance, and love for one another.
You have truly demonstrated, and not just say, that we must unite in our shared goal of creating a better Kogi State for all, putting aside, our differences, and working together towards the common goal, knowing that Kogi State is for all of us to build.
I bask in the rhapsody of the hope of One Kogi that your leadership is projecting and I join other well meaning kogians to solicit the understanding of all aggrieved brothers and sisters across party platforms and ethnic divides to sheathe their sword to give prosperity a chance.
Once again, congratulations, Your Excellency Sir, even as we continue to count on you for a new Kogi State for all.
