A member  and leader of APC   youth  movement from Idah Local Government Area of kogi state, Ambassador, Samuel  Danjuma  has lauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering commitment to transforming Kogi State into a food-sufficient region and a leading agricultural hub in the nation.
Amb. Danjuma, made the  commendation  from the sidelines of the launching of wet season farming held at Ajaokuta on Sunday.
Danjuma noted that the commendation became imperative as a result of the governor’s significant agricultural initiative, which saw the distribution of over 100 tractors and farming implements valued at 7 billion naira to local farmers.
“This initiative marks a pivotal step in enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting the livelihood of farmers across the state.  Governor Ododo’s strategy also includes the cultivation of over 7,324 hectares of land during this year’s wet farming season.
” The focus will be on key crops such as maize, rice, and cassava, with cultivation efforts spread across Kogi State’s three senatorial districts.  This large-scale farming project aimed at   boosting crop yields, ensure food security, and create job opportunities within the agricultural sector”.  Amb Danjuma highlighted
