Eid-el-Adha: Rector NKFI felicitates with Muslims, admonish fervent sacrificial prayers for Nation
…. appreciates Gov. Ododo for Civil servants a befitting Salah Celebration
The Rector, Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has felicitated with Muslims across the Nations of the world especially those in Kogi state on the occasion of this yearā€™s Eid-el-Adha celebration while admonishing believers to engage inĀ  fervent sacrificial prayers and intercessions for our Nation and leaders.
The Rector in a Press Statement signed by the Instituteā€™s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Emmanuel thanked the Governor for making this yearā€™s Salah event a memorable and historic one, as Civil servants in the state received their June salary payment promptly than usual and also the massive food palliative support from the Gov. Ododo led administration.
He added that such a decision had a massive ripple effect of the entire economy of the state and particularly for those in the market system noting that the governorā€™s action has once again shown his disposition towards the welfare of the people and the fact that his consolidation government was the right choice for the people of the state.
The Rector further in his salah felicitation said ā€œOn behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and students of the Institute, we wish our Muslim brethren globally and in our dear state a very happy Salah celebration filled with goodness and beautiful memoriesā€. He added that as families would gather to mark this yearā€™s occasion, they should engage in activities that would their bonds and enable a more united home.
He added that Salah season reminds us of the Ideal of sacrifice, trust, Obedience and faith in God as expressed by the actions of Prophet Ibrahim, adding that individuals must in our daily lifeā€™s endeavour maintain similar disposition in a bid to live a Godly, devoted and good life.
The Rector further admonished Muslims and even Christians to show kindness and love to their fellow human and ensure that they shared from their plenty to those who might be in need due to one reason or the other. He concluded that such gesture would help ensure that everyone is happy and catered for in our respective societies.
