Hon. Dr. Aminu Atabo, recently appointed Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Kogi State on Informal and Vocational Education, was received by the Commissioner of Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, at his office in Lokoja.
During the courtesy visit, Dr. Atabo expressed his gratitude to Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the opportunity to serve the state. He emphasized the importance of resuming his duties under the direct supervision of the Education Commissioner.
“I extend gratitude to my Creator and to His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of our dear Kogi State, for this opportunity to serve,” Dr. Atabo stated. He added, “As the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Informal and Vocational Education, it’s paramount I resume under my immediate supervisory Ministry which is under the ebullient, multiple award winning Commissioner of Education, Hon. Wemi Jones.”
The meeting, which also included the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Alhaji Yakubu Dele Musa marks the beginning of Dr. Atabo’s tenure in his new role, focusing on informal and vocational education in Kogi State.
