The Kogi State Government has assured the people of Dekina Local Government Area that the water facilities at Anyigba would soon become functional to ameliorate water challenges facing the area
Commissioner For Water Resources, Engr Yahaya MD Farouk gave the assurances after the visit and inspection of water facilities at the Eastern flank of the State with the visit to Anyigba water facility in Dekina LGA.
The Commissioner during the visit assured that the welfare and Interest of the people remains paramount to the administration of Gov. Ododo.
He said the present administration is doing everything possible to resuscitate all water facilities across the State.
He noted that after the inspection visit for fact finding to confront the challenges, and proffer solution to the endemic water shortages.
Highlights of the visit to Anyigba by the Commissioner was a stop over at the Palace of Ogohi Onu Anyigba. The Dekina LG Secretary accompanied the Commissioner on the visit.
