Dr. Aminu Atabor, from Omala Local Government Area in Ankpa Federal Constituency in Kogi East has unanimously been elected , Chairman of Forum of Senior Special Assistants in Kogi East.
Dr. Atabor is the Senior Special Assistant to his Excellency, Alhaji Usman Almed Ododo on Informal and vocational Education.
The election which was held on Thursday in Lokoja also produced, Hon.Alîh Kellar Arome ,from Idah Federal Constituency, as Secretary, while Hon Isiaka, Bassa LGA as Vice Chairman from Dekina Federal Constituency .
Others are Hon Mario as PRO, Hon. Isah Emmanuel Treasurer, from Olamaboro, while Hon. Suleiman Ademu from Dekina, elected Welfare officer.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Atabor commended Governor Ododo for the opportunity given to them serve and assured him and the people of kogi East and the entire state of their preparedness to add value to the lives and livelihood of the people and the transformation of the zone.
He commended the members for a rancour free election and urge them to work as a team to deliver the Renew Hope Agenda of President Ahmed Tinubu and Development Agenda of his excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo to the people.
He called on the people of kogi East, irrespective of party affiliations to join hands with the present administration to move the state forward.
Recall that Governor Ododo had appointed 35 SSA from Kogi East to help him rejig his development agenda for the state.
