Supreme court verdict : You are ordained by God RATTAWU Eulogises Gov” Ododo.
The Radio, Television , Theatre .and Arts Workers Union , Kogi state Council have described the sweet victory of Gov. Ododo at the supreme court as God’ s Ordained and sacrosanct.
The Union in a statement signed by the Chairman Haruna Isah and made available to Journalists in Lokoja, said , the victory has reinforced the hope of the common man in the judiciary.
He noted that the judiciary has once again confirmed the mandate that the people of Kogi state freely gave to the people’s Governor on the Nov 11, 2023 and called for unwavering support of the citizenry to enable him deliver dividends of democracy to the state.
He assured him of the RATTAWU’s commitment and dedication to galvanise support for the administration through culture, drama and dance.
” Now that the legal battle is over, let us join hands together to move the state forward. In every contest there would be a winner and a loser, hence, I urge members of the opposition parties to bring their ideas and know how to the board and align them with the government ‘s missions and visions for the overall development of the state.
” We commend him for the prompt payment of Salaries and pensions and his recent appointment of political office holders which cut across all the political divide. He has demonstrated equity fairness and justice in the management of the state . His policy of inclusiveness has brought peace, and harmony through out the length and breadth of the state and we urge him to continue with the good works.
We pray to God Almighty to give him more wisdom as he pilot the affairs of the state.
