The General overseer of  Jesus the way Faith Ministries Ankpa, Andrew Adejoh has urged Christians and non believers to strive  to get divine wisdom and understanding in all their activities while still alive.
The General overseer GO. gave the charge on Friday during the  funeral church service of Elder Stephen Achem Agi  held in his residence close to Kogi State College of Education Ankpa.
The clergy man , taking his biblical bearing from Matthew 25:1-3 noted that it takes only  wisdom to catapult believers to the top and sustain them at the top.
He charged the worshippers to think about the eternal life and to work hard to merit the gift of God , saying all the world attractions were  but for a few moments as only  the love of God is for eternity.
He admonised Christians to emulate the lessons of the ten virgins who were waiting to see the Lord, but , unfortunately, while he tarries, the five foolish ones could not purchase oil in their lamps as they missed the opportunity of eternal rest with the Almighty God
While calling on Nigerians to turn a new leaf in following the footstep of Jesus Christ who  lived  immaterial lifestyle, said, the Nation needs those who are genuinely committed to selfless service.
In a response , the wife of the deceased, Mrs Marian Agi noted that she was consoled by the life that her husband lived and confident that he was already at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ
He challenged family members to emulate the lives of their father who lived all his life in the service of humanity
In a remark, the second oldest son ,Damian Agi pledged that the children will forever bear  the legacies their father left behind and commended all that came to honour them and pray for safe return to their respective home.
At the graveside  in Agojeju Odo, his birth place, the Candidate of APC in the October 19 Chairmanship election in Kogi , Hon Mark Edibo was on ground to receive the late elder statesman whose contributions to the growth and development of his village was immeasurable.
The chairmanship hopeful , who was flanked by prominent sons and daughters of Omala, community leaders, friends and well wishers to pay their last respect  said “Papa was a committed lover of peace, growth and development of Agojeju-Odo.
“His death has left a vacuum that will be too hard to fill. Elder Agih lived a fulfilled life and left at a good old age having sweet legacies for the coming generation to emulate”
He admonished family members and sympathisers to lead a life of impact while still have breath in their nostrils, stressing that man can only be remembered by the quality of life he lived as a function of his contributions to the development of mankind.
Late Elder Agi is survived by his wife, brothers and sisters, children, 3 males and 4 females  among whom is Dr. Jerome Agi, former , caretaker chairman, Omala Local Government Council.
