Inspects Rock Bottom Company Lltd.
Hon. Edibo Mark Ameh, chairman, Omala Local Government Council, has charged mining companies in the area to prioritise the payment of statutory taxes and executing social commitment to their host communities to foster robust mutual relationship.
The chairman gave the charge today while on inspection tour of mining companies in the area.
He urged the companies to leverage on data bank on the abundant Solid mineral deposits in the LGA for seamless exploitation for the benefits of all all the stakeholders.
While addressing the Management of Rock Bottom company in Olokwu, Omala LGA of Kogi State; Hon Edibo highlighted the needs of the host communities and urged the companies to always remember their social responsibility to communities by ways of executing projects that has far reaching impact on the people of the area.
Responding, the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of Rock Bottom Ltd, Mr. Gbenga; reiterated his unalloyed support to the Government and commended his for unrelented war against insecurity in the LGA.
AAccording to him, business can only thrive where and when insecurity is reduced to bearable minimum
