Anniversary celebration: Forum of 21 LGC Ex. Political office holders Congratulates Gov. Ododo on impactful one Year in office.
The Forum of Ex-Political Office Holders of the 21 Local Government Councils who served between 2013-2016 heartily congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State on his eventful and rewarding one year in office
Your Excellency Sir, the good people of Kogi state have witnessed unprecedented achievements in the area of security, health, prompt payment of salaries, payments to pensioners, award of scholarship, payment of WAEC fees and bursary allowances to Kogi State students and infrastructural development of our dear state.
In congratulatory message signed by Musa Abdullahi , and Mohammed Idris Omale chairman and Secretary respectively, the forum acknowledged that your one year in office has sent the opposition parties in the state into oblivion thereby making our great party, the All Progressives Congress ( APC) the only party with the capacity to win elections in the state.
“The mass exodus of opposition party members into APC in Kogi State is a clear indication that APC is waxing stronger as a result of your uncommon leadership acumen.
The Forum wishes to commend your efforts geared towards building international airports in the state and the crucial role you are playing to revitalise Ajaokuta steel company. You have indeed set the state on the path of Socio-economic rejuvenation
“We want to sincerely appreciate the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello for giving Kogi State a worthy successor and for his compassion and kindness to us through part payment of arrears of our salaries and allowances while in office. The approval of Two Billion naira ( #2b) out of the Four Billion and Seven Hundred million naira (#4.7b) of arrears of our salaries and allowances by FGYB is a clear testament that he is a promise keeper. We will forever remember him in prayers.
The Forum will remain eternally grateful to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the roles he played before we got approval for payments in the last administration. We are so confident that the promise you made to clear the balance of our arrears will be fulfilled in no distant time as you are now directly incharge. We know you to be a Leader who match words with actions.
