The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, *Professor K.I.T. Eniola, fNSM, FRA*, warmly congratulates a distinguished entrepreneur and change maker, *Mr. Tony O. Elumelu, CFR*, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by Tade Oshaloto, public Relations officer, and made available to Treasuretimes on Sunday , in Lokoja, Professor Eniola commended Mr. Elumelu’s strong commitment to entrepreneurship, and innovation across Africa through through business and philanthropy, including the *Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF)*. He noted that the TEF initiative continues to serve as an enduring inspiration for enterprise-driven individuals and institutions—including the rapidly growing Kogi State University, Kabba.
“Your legacy of empowering people through innovative skills speaks to the heart of our own vision at here at KOSU,” the statement read.
The statement further added that the University is strategically positioned as a *digital and entrepreneurial university*, strongly aligned with values that inspire innovation and transformation, noting that the university recently inaugurated the *Kogi State University, Kabba Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub*, with a mandate to nurture a generation of innovators and entrepreneurs— who would not only become *globally competitive, nationally respected, but also locally relevant*. This the statement said makes the university open to a “broader and *mutually beneficial collaborations* in the shared mission of equipping the next generation of African leaders.”

The Vice Chancellor prayed that Mr. Elumelu’s new year be filled with greater accomplishments, enduring influence, and fulfilling impact.
