ICDA mourns Chief Emmanuel Sule Atawodi.
The leadership, members and entire Igala sons and daughters of Igala Cultural Development Association ICDA mourn the passage of our illustrious sage , chief Emmanuel Sule Atawodi which occurred on the 10/3/2025.
In the Condolence message signed by Chief Rufai Yahaya, General Secretary, noted that the late chief Atawodi was a community leader, a counsellor, a moral upright and a mentor to the younger generations whose lifestyle was an embodiment of culture, tradition and above all a lover of Almighty God who gave his all to the service of humanity.
He was a motivator, who contributed his invaluable experiences to the formation , growth and development of our dear ICDA.
As a foremost Association,, we acknowledge his commitment to the ideals of Igala nation, and we would have loved to have him with us till eternity to continue to offer his services but , the Almighty God needed him the most to be at his bosom at the moment.
We are however consoled that he is right now with his creator , invoking the spirit of our ancestors for the growth and development of Igala nation.
We therefore request our compatriots to give him their last respect he deserved as the funeral rites kick off on the 26/3/2025 at Idah, headquarters of Igala kingdom.
He will surely be missed by us .
We enjoined the family to remain calm at the moment of our collective grief.
Although, we miss him now, but, we confident to reunite with him again in the eternity. Adieu our indefatigable sage.
