Founder of Modupe Smith Foundation bags Outstanding Humanitarian Services’ Award in kogi

The founder of The Modupe Smith Foundation, Mrs. Motunrayo Raji, has been honoured with multiple prestigious awards in recognition of her exceptional humanitarian services to widows, orphans and vulnerables in Okene, Kogi State.

While presenting the award, the groups in their various speeches noted that through her foundation, Mrs. Raji has been a beacon of hope to the less privileged, empowering widows, providing scholarships to underprivileged students, and supporting orphans across the region.

In his speech, the president of De-Greater Height Front in Kogi, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa-Amoka, noted that the foundation’s efforts have brought much-needed relief and opportunities to countless individuals and families in its latest initiative,

The Modupe Smith Foundation recently empowered 120 widows in the community by equipping them with vocational skills and financial support, which the groups said is a significant step towards sustainable development and economic independence for women in the area.

The organizations which recognized and celebrated Mrs. Raji’s impactful contributions includes ; De-Greater Height Front Kogi, Kogi Unity Movement, Kogi Indigenous Charity Foundation and Beloved Ladies Empire Multipurpose Cooperative Society.

The maintained that these awards are a testament to the enduring impact of Mrs. Raji’s selfless service and her commitment to uplifting lives through compassion, empowerment, and strategic support.
