Kog Government Distribute Fertilizers to Farmers in Omala LGA

The State Government, in a bid to boost agricultural productivity, has distributed fertilizers to farmers in Omala Local Government Area.
The fertilizers, including Geo Plus NPK and Geo Green UREA (water-soluble nutrients), were handed over to village heads and Ward Chairmen for onward delivery to farmers in their respective wards.
The Director of Local Government, Hon. Jumai Edogbo, acknowledged the State Government’s unwavering , consistent and visionary leadership in empowering farmers.
 “The Governor’s commitment to agriculture is unparalleled, and this fertilizer distribution is a testament to his dedication to improving the lives of our farmers and enhancing food security in our state,” said Hon. Jumai Edogbo.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Alhassan Egume, representing the Local Government Chairman, thanked the Governor for his prompt response to farmers’ needs and urged farmers to utilize the fertilizers appropriately. “We are grateful for the Governor’s support, and we urge our farmers to make the most of this opportunity by using the fertilizers wisely and maximizing their yields,” Hon. Egume said.
The Secretary to the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Oyibo Joseph, also thanked the Government and advised farmers to use the fertilizers wisely, cautioning against selling them outside the intended beneficiaries.
In a remark, the Party Chairman, Alih Shehu, emphasized the importance of unity and unwavering support for the government at all times. “As a party, we must stand united and rally behind our government, supporting its initiatives and policies aimed at improving the lives of our people,” he said. “Together, we can achieve great things and build a brighter future for our state and its citizens.”
The distribution of fertilizers is a testament to the State Government’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting farmers in Omala LGA.
