Reinstatement: Onuife ( Joogba) HRH Boniface Musa,’s Family Appreciates Gov. Ododo.

The family of HRH Chief Boniface Usman Musa (JP) has expressed deep appreciation to  the executive Governor of Kogi State HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the Governor of Kogi State for ensuring the ratification of the reinstatement of their father, HRH. Chief Boniface Musa as the Chairman of the Omala Traditional Council.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Hon Prince Hilarioncollins Attai Musa (FIMC CMC CNA ACCFrA) a biological son of the Onu Ife thanked the governor of Kogi State for completing the restoration process of their father as Onu Ife and Chairman Omala Traditional Council. Hon. Hilarioncollins who is the former House of Assembly Member representing Omala constituency and the present Special Adviser to the Governor on Heritage and Eco-Tourism said:

“We give God the glory that everything happened this way. We are indeed particularly very grateful to HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the listening Governor of Kogi State for his magnanimity, consideration and proactiveness in making sure that everything is done accordingly following ethical principles and due process. On behalf of the family of HRH Chief Boniface Usman Musa, once again, I say we are grateful. We also specially appreciate the role of Barr. Salami Ozigi Deedat the Hon. Commissioner for LG and Chieftaincy affairs. We thank the good people of Omala for standing by the family and the throne. We will not forget the efforts of the Kogi State executive council and all others who in one way or the other made this possible.”

Recall that on October 21st 2024, HRH Chief Boniface Musa was granted a probational reinstatement as the Chairman of the Omala Traditional Council after his suspension in January of the same year. In a State Executive Council meeting held on 8th of August 2025, this reinstatement was ratified
