The newly deployed Kogi state Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps , CC Aletan Olumide Ebenezer has assumed duty in Lokoja
The CC Ebenezer was received by the outgoing ACG Akinlade Esther O. who is transcending to a more higher task .
The new kogi State command boss immediately after inspecting the quarter guard, headed for a brief meeting with all the HODs and HOU’s in his office at the State Headquarters.
Earlier on, the outgoing ACG Akinlade Esther O. admonished the incoming State Commandant, other head of departments and units before departure.
In her address she wished her successor a greater achievement while soliciting for maximum support for the new Commandant so that the aims and objectives of the Corps in the protection of lives and properties, Critical National Assets and Infrastructure will be achieved in the State as he steer the mantle of leadership as the State Commandant.
The new State Commandant appreciated the ACG and promised to do all within his strength to uplift the command so as to meet up with the standard of best practices as demonstrated by the Commandant General professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi Mni OFR who is working tirelessly in making sure that the Corps takes it’s place of pride in the security architecture of the Nation.
He charged the personnel of the command to join hands with him in the spirit of being dutiful while shunning all forms of characters and exhibitions that are not in tandem with the standard of operation of the Corps .Speaking further he harped that officers who indulge in the habit of truancy and lackadaisical to duty will not be tolerated in all forms.
While appreciating the Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD Mni OFR for the opportunity given to him to serve in the capacity of Kogi State Commandant he promised to make the State unbearable for miscreants and perpetrators of crimes and criminality.
