Yesterday Ajokpachi Odo in Omala LGA of Kogi State was attacked by hundreds of Agatu Militia from Benue State who stormed the place during the early hours of yesterday 19/9/2025 shooting sporadically.
It was confirm during the attack that a death was recorded and many wounded while running helter skelter.
Hon Edibo who condemned the incident called it barbaric, saying the blood of the people of Omala LG cannot be shed for any reasons what so ever. He further warned that Omala is a lover and a keeper of peace and they would never trade that for some selfish reasons. He then urged the Government of Benue State to call their Youths to order saying they were not ready to tolerate such attack from them thereby these should be their last.
Recall that Ajokpachi Odo a border town with Agatu LG of Benue state , has been consistently under attack by Agatu militia and fulani herdsmen burning down the community and killing residents.
