Humanity: Olayinka Braimoh gifts scholarship to Children of Slained Bunu Driver, Folusho Durowaiye to University

Kogi State Frontline Politician,and 2023 kogi state Governorship candidate of Action Alliance, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has offered scholarship to the children of a driver, Chief Folusho Durowaiye popularly known as “Quality” who was killed in his farm in August this year by suspected bandits in Kiri-Bunu, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.

Otunba Braimoh, a business mogul made the announcement during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at Edumo.

Chief Funsho Durowaiye (Quality), was until his death a former Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Kiriland zone.

Speaking during the visit, Otunba Braimoh described the death of Chief Durowaiye as a painful loss to the Community and entire Okun land, expressing disappointment over the killings in some parts of Bunu land.

He said he was out of the country when the incident occurred but returned to personally sympathize and commiserate with the family.

The former Governorship Candidate noted that within the short time that he knew Quality, he proved to be trustworthy and genuinely cared for his people and community.

Otunba Braimoh, while expressing grief over the loss of Chief Durowaiye, promised to sponsor the deceased’s children through university,assuring of his support to the family.

He urged governments at all levels to enhance security in Okun land and ensure that killings, kidnappings, and social vices in the area are nipped in the bud.

Responding on behalf of the family, Chief Tosin Owonibi, appreciated Otunba Olayinka Braimoh’s kind gesture, commending his support during their difficult time.

He expressed the family’s gratitude for Braimoh’s kindness and generosity, praying that God guides and blesses him as he pursues his political goals.

This gesture is coming after Otunba Braimoh offered scholarships to 100 Bunu Girl Child at the launch of Bunu Women Initiative last weekend.
