Yuletide: Braimoh preaches Unity , peaceful coexistence .
Olayinka Braimoh, a well-known philanthropist and a major opposition leader in Kogi State, has released a goodwill message for Christmas.
He wants Nigerians, and especially Kogi State citizens, to really go for peace, love, and peaceful coexistence. “Not just now during the holidays, but every time of the year.
He said it feels like this season is a good chance to think things over, forgive, and get back to living without any form of trouble. He made a point that places where hate or violence exists can’t move forward; they will always fall apart. “We need to live together in harmony so that we can face our common enemies of poverty and insecurity,” he stressed.
He urged political leaders, folks in the community, and the youths to avoid anything that stirs up trouble. Instead, talking it out, accepting differences, and respecting each other – that seems like the way to handle misunderstanding.
Braimoh also said, “Showing kindness to people who have it rough, building up that sense of community development, and holding onto hope, even when things get tough with societal issues, and always sharing the little we have with everyone, will go a long way in discouraging many evils that breed insecurity and other vices in our society.”
I think the whole idea of Christmas for him is about sharing hope, bringing people into unity, and aiming for something better, more calm, and with chances to get ahead.
He ended the message by saying, “Merry Christmas to everyone in Kogi State and beyond, wishing you a new year full of hope, love and peaceful co-existence.”
