Omala PDP Excos Pays Solidarity Visit To Former Kogi Governor, Ibrahim Idris.
Says He Remain The Pride Of The Party In Kogi State.
People’s Democratic Party PDP Excos in Omala local government has reassured former Kogi Governor,Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, CON that he remained the pride of the party in the state.
The Executives of the party in Omala local government led by it’s Secretary ,Mr Abdul Wada along with other LG and Ward Executives gave the assurance during a solidarity visit to his residence in Asokoro area of Abuja.
The Secretary said as a leader, both at the Local Government and State level, they remained committed to his zeal to drive the Party to enviable heights in the state.
Wada maintained that the visit was to chart a new cause for the party, saying his leadeship postion in kogi state is not negotiable.
He thanked the former Govenor for his relentless commitement to the party in the last two decades, inspite of the onerous task of managing the players.
Responding, former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris expressed his elation over the visit, while thanking the leadership of the party and their members for remaining steadfast and committed to the success of the party, despite many challenges and many years out of government.
He said Omala is the traditional home of PDP since the return to democracy in 1999, and will remain so for a long time to come.
