Kogi Assembly clerk, Isa-Amoka, condoles NUJ, Radio Kogi over death of member.
The Clerk of the Kogi state House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa-Amoka, has condoled the Kogi state chairman and members of the Nigeria Union of journalists, over the demise of one of their members, Mrs Lucy Damian.
He equally condoled the General Manager and staff members of the Kogi state Broadcasting Cooperation, owners of Radio Kogi where she served until her death
Isa-Amoka who was also a former chairman of the Union, described the death of the ace broadcaster as not only devastating, but a great loss to the union, her family members and the Radio Kogi in particular.
He note that her wise counsel would be greatly missed by the union in critical issues as she was notable to always aligning herself with popular decisions of the greater majority of members, which he said has helped to move the union to successes.
The Clerk called on the family members to take solace in the fact that Lucy lived a very fulfilled life, leaving behind worthy legacies which are worthy of emulation.
He prayed God Almighty to grant her soul eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
