COAS Charges Soldiers to Treat Bandits lesson they deserve.

The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen. Faruk Yahaya has called on the officers fighting insurgency and banditry across different locations in the country not to relent but to remain resolute to achieve the set target.
The Army chief of staff, Lt Gen.Faruk Yahaya mentioned that the military’s steadfastness in dealing with various criminal gangs will yield positive result very soon in all part of the country..
He  stated that his visit to Minna Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) of the Nigerian Army is part of his operational visit to military formations across the country and to rub mind with the officers on the way forward and how the operational responsibility of Army’s fighting insurgency and banditry in the country would yields positive results.
He said that the military were not looking for prisoners of war hence the need to be careful in carrying out their fundermental responsibilities of curbing armed banditry and kidnapping case’s diligently.
He then called on the General public to always provide his Men with credible information that will help  them in fighting banditry.
During his visit to 31 Field Artillery Minna, the Army chief of staff commissioned the Nigerian Army officers transit accomodation,  ground breaking of Nursery and Primary school and the launching of Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association, Minna chapter.
He will also declare open the Doctrinal Development Conference with the theme capacity building of Nigerian Army in Doctrinal Development for effective training operation in a joint environment
