Ful holds 9th matriculation ceremony..
*Warns against cultism ,exam malpractices.
The Federal University Lokoja, has matriculated three thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Five students into her faculties and Departments for 2020/ 2021 academic session.
Administering the oath of allegiance on the students on Thursday inside the auditorium of the Adankolo campus, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi warned them against joining unregistered associations on the campus, saying , the institution has zero tolerance for Cultism, examination Malpractices, indecent dressing and other forms of anti social behaviours.
He told the matriculants to count themselves lucky to be among the privilege few to be admitted into the university out of thousands that had applied for placement for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The VC while admonishing them to take their studies very seriously and lay aside all those things that will hinder them from graduating, charge them to exhibit high standard of character and learning to qualify them for the certificate at the end of their four years in the University.
“I want to further advice you that there are actions and inactions from you that can distract you, as you chase the golden fleece in FUL from achieving a positive realisation of your objectives for obtaining admission into this university for which you are celebrating today.” He warned.
