The Niger state Command of the Nigeria security and civil Defense corps NSCDC has deployed one thousand, two hundred personnel across the twenty five local government areas.
The state Commandant of the Corps,Mr Haruna Bala Zurmi disclosed this recently while briefing the officers and men of the command.
The Commandant Mr Bala Zurmi stressed the need for the personal to be more vigilant looking at the current security situation of the state.
He, however reminded the personnel to protect critical National assets and infrastructures with due diligent and called on the officers deployed to exhibit high sense of professionalism while discharging their duties.
He directed the immediate deployment of personnel to the capital city of the state.
He then urged Christians to use this Holy period to pray for the country over the new corvid 19 Omicron virus.
He then called on the general public to remain calm,law abiding and urged them to always report any suspicion movement to the nearest security outpost in their area.
