Olamaboro Councilors Pay Courtesy Visit To Hon Halims, Hails His Performance In Olamaboro

Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State has renewed his commitment to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of his Federal Constituency.
The Federal Lawmaker who is also the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Steel Development disclosed this when he received in audience, the Olamaboro Legislative Council at his residence in Ankpa.

The Local Government Lawmakers, led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Blessing James who represents Olamaboro Ward 5 disclosed that the August visit was to in addition to season compliments, deepen existing relationship with the Federal Lawmaker who they rated high in performance.

While speaking on behalf of the Legislators, the House Majority Leader and Councilor Representing Imane Ward 1, Hon. Abraham Francis, revealed that the visit was also an avenue of expressing gratitude to Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims for appointing his most cum Senior Legislative Aide from Olamaboro as well as to thank him for his developmental strides which in terms of impact, has direct bearing on the people of Olamaboro.

In his response, the Federal Lawmaker thanked the Legislators for their confidence in him and reassured them that he will continue to do his best for the good of his entire Constituency adding that Olamaboro will witness more dividends in the coming year than it has currently recorded.

Earlier, the Honorable Member Representing Olamaboro State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Alewo Bobby Ujah whose stop over coincided with the Councilors’ visit preached the need for elective officials to work in unison at all levels, stressing that unity of purpose is the shortest route to the socioeconomic development of every society.

On his part, Hon Okeme Emmanuel who is the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Halims in his vote of thanks appreciated the goodwill of the Councilors and the state Lawmaker, reassured the people of Olamaboro a continuous robust relationship with the Federal Lawmaker and called on all constituents to join hands together with elected officials in moving the area forward.

Aside the numerous human developmental strides of Hon. Halims which of course cut across the Constituency, the Federal Lawmaker in addition to construction of solar powered boreholes in Ogugu, Imane, Ade as well as installation of solar powered street lights in Imane has succeeded in facilitating the construction of Uko bridge in Okpo district of Olamaboro Local Government Area by 2022.
