KSHA Ex. Clerk , assures of his continued support to House, Successor

The immediate past clerk of the Kogi state House of Assembly, Alhaj Ibrahim Isa-Amoka has assured that he will always be available to offer any help to the management of the Assembly if called upon.

Isa-Amoka who stated this on Tuesday while handing over the mantle of Clerkship to the new clerk, Alh. Chogudo Ahmed, at the Assembly complex, thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him Worthy of the appointment as clerk for an upward of two years.

He maintained that he is retiring from the position without any blemish, haven served for two years as clerk of the Assembly.

While thanking the speaker, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole for his support and cooperation which he said was responsible for whatever modest impact he has made in the Assembly, thanked the staff for cooperating with him, saying “without you there wouldn’t have been me.

“I am leaving without any blemish as clerk of the Assembly haven served for two years. I’m leaving with my head high, knowing fully well that I have done my best possible within the space and time available to me.

“To the staff members, I say a big thank for your support, cooperation and your believe in my ability to lead you. I see myself as a leader among you and not a boss. Without your support we wouldn’t have come this far. I prayed that all of us will have an opportunity like this in future.

“To my successor, my brother and friend, I wish you well in your new assignment. I have no doubt in your ability and capacity to deliver on your set goals. I will continue to make myself available to you when my advise and counsel is required.
