Easter Celebration; kogi CP felicitates with Xtians, tightens security.
The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Edward .C Egbuka, psc (+), heartily felicitates with Christians on the occasion of 2022 Easter Celebration.
The Commissioner assures the good people of the State of adequate Security measures put in place by the Command in synergy with other Security agencies to ensure safety of lives and property during the period and beyond.
He further disclosed that, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, as well as Tactical Commanders have been directed to ensure adequate Security of lives and properties in their respective Area of Responsibilities.
According to him, the officers were charged to carry out intensive patrol along the major highways , intelligence led-Operation aimed at curbing the excesses of criminal elements threatening our internal Security.
The Commissioner urge all Kogites particularly, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Youth Groups, Market Bodies, Farmers, Hunters, Vigilante, Transport Union, Okada Union, Tricycle Union among others for their maximum support in the fight against criminal especially kidnappers, armed bandits and other heinous crime.
He however, assures the good people of the State of the renewed commitment of the Command to sustain the tempo of the fight against criminality in the State and guarantee protection of live and properties as unequivocal and unwavering.
