To comfirm his performance expectation with the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-olu, the former Governor and head of Governance Advisory Council, GAC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved four more years for him.
The former Governor, who is also the National leader of the APC and Presidential hopeful of the party alongside other members of the council took the decider on Monday during its meeting at State House , Marina,Lagos..
Sanwo-Olu has kept silent about his second term bid even though the May 27,2022 , the day slated for the primary is of few weeks.
It would be recalled that his predecessor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode failed to secure a second term in office because he fell out of favour with the party structure and GAC members despite the popular sentiments that he performed very well enough in office to deserve a second term.
