Rt. Hon. Aliyu Akuh, former Deputy Speaker, kogi state House of Assembly, and an aspirant for Federal House of representatives for Ankpa/ Olamaboro/ Omala on the platform of Peoples Democratic party PDP rejoices with the muslim faithfuls for successful completion of the Ramadan fasting.
Hon. Akuh particularly commend moslems across Ankpa Federal Constituency for their show of love, personal sacrifices and commitment to the divine ideal of the Ramadan fast.
He said, having abstained from personal comfort for this while, it has become expedience to making this season a lifelong affairs so as to engender peaceful coexistence , avoid unwholesome behaviours , so as to making our country great again.
The House of representatives hopeful enjoined them to exemplify the teachings of love and sacrifice as stated in the holy Quran. 30:21, 3:76 , 9:4 which is the essence of the season.
According to him” As we enter the most critical time of our nationhood, this forthcoming general election should be a barometer to guage antecedents of those who wants to rule us.
” We must interrogate their past in terms of capacity, competence, empathy and commitment to our party PDP.
” Some may dazzles money at you at this time , which they never did aforetime. You must ask them why being father Christmas now, because elections is at the corner.
