* Dedicates Award to Gov. Ododo.
The Senior Special Assistant SSA to Kogi state Governor on Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, Hon. Sunday Paul, has been bestowed with 2026 centre for Ethics and value self reorientation leadership award .
Other recipients of the highly coveted award are Dr. Sandra Mimi, Ahammed Saba , Makolo Junior , Hon. Suberu, Yusuf and FRSC officer who , according to the Ethicist Salil M. Yakubu were chosen based on their track contributions to media , entertainment industry and impact on good governance of their various Political portfolios.
The award ceremony which was organized by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of centre for Ethics and value self reorientation Ethicist Salil M Yakubu held at Aisha Plaza beside commissioners Quarters, Lokoja on Monday.
The awardees, according to Ethicist Yakubu, among other things, were honoured for their loyalty to the Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, sustained excellence and exceptional contributions to the growth and development of the state.
The event brought together the young and vibrant political appointees of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, alongside dignitaries to celebrate five notable politicians who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the state.
Others are; A Nollywood Actor and Film Maker, Mr. Thompson Makolo, OIK AEC, and a famous broadcaster and DJ, MR. Ahammed Shaba, AEC, all the awardees were physically present to receive their awards, except Hon. Suberu Yusuf John PhD AEC, senior special assistant to the Executive Governor of Kogi State on Road Safety Matters, who was on an official assignment. All awardees were beaming with pride as they were celebrated for their contributions to the advancement of the state.
The convener, founder and MD/CEO, Shregarf Media Consult, Comrade Salil.M. Yakubu expressed his passion for the awardees urging government to appoint them by elevating them to the position of commissioners in their various capabilities.
He expressed his appreciation for their unflinching commitment to Kogi state and encouraged them to remain dedicated to the continuous success and growth our dear Kogi state.
He noted that the awardees have contributed meaningfully in their various offices, highlighting their immense contributions to the society. “This awards was basically to honour and celebrate them, they have made us proud,” he said.
The convener emphasized the significance of hard work, termination and dedication to one’s duty, stating that he has been monitoring their activities and found out they all excelled.
The MD/CEO of Shregarf Media Consult therefore presented the Excellence Service Award certificates to the awardees, the award recognizes exceptional leadership, integrity and measurable impact in governance, public service and socio-economic development within the past year.
At the end of the colourful event, Hon. Sunday Paul who spoke to newsmen,
commended the management of Shregarf Media Consult for acknowledging them who had served diligently with His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Ododo, describing the gesture as a major morale booster. “I have looked forward to this day, and I am extremely grateful to the management.
He however thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi state for considering him worthy of his appointment as Senior Special Assistant on corporate Social Responsibility, adding that he would continue to strife to ensure his second term re-election bid come 2027.
