Kogi NSCDC Boss charges Arms Trainees to curb Insecurity .
The kogi state Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyinloye John Kayode has task officers undergoing Arms Training to exhibit high level of professionalism in fighting crimes and criminality.
The commandant said, the task is in furtherance of the Commandant General , Dr.Ahmed Abubakar Audi’ s mission and vision to reposition the Corps for efficient service delivery.
The Commandant stated this in a Press Release signed by the Corps PRO Alex Agiri and made available to Journalists on Monday in Lokoja.
According to him, the forensic test and evaluation becomes obligatory and mandatory for Arms Bearing Personnel in order to enhance their psychological , mental and physical fitness.
Commandant Kayode charged instructors to ensure strict adherence to discipline and to effect smooth sybernatic relationship with the trainees.
“No trainees should be given preferential treatment by any instructor ,Instructors must be properly dressed (complete uniform or a combat trousers with crested NSCDC black T shirt.
“All forms of friendship and brotherliness between instructors and trainees is prohibited within the camp/
training period.
” Granting of permission to the trainee must be centrally done with a written proof ( pass.”
“In fighting between instructors and trainees will be considered as an act of serious misconduct.
“You are advised to be disciplined, punctual , alert and committed to your assigned role throughout the training exercise” The Commandant warned.
He said those who are not comfortable with the rules and regulations are at liberty to withdraw from the training, saying the corps will not entertain any flimsy excuses in the course of the training even as he warned officers against drunkenness, addiction to psychotropic substance and absenteeism.
Meanwhile, the head of training fashakin Adebayo ACC charged the trainees to be of good conduct as no act of indiscipline will be tolerated.
