The People’s Democratic Party PDP Presidential Campaign Council Chairman in Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has asked kogites to demonstrate their love for the party, the Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on their visit to Lokoja tomorrow, Saturday 14th January, 2023.
The former Kogi Governor in a statement issued in Lokoja on Friday says the only way to show love is by trooping out from the 21 local government areas of Kogi state enmasse to welcome the August visitors led by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his team.
The PDP Presidential Candidate according to the former Kogi Governor said the team will be happy receiving a rousing welcome from the teeming supporters across Kogi state, as a demonstration and determination to change the ugly trend across Nigeria with peculiarities in Kogi state.
He advised the resolve of Nigerians to bring on board the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria’s President, saying Kogi will be most beneficial by voting the PDP in the next election.
The former Kogi Governor who addressed thousands of PDP supporters across the state through critical stakeholders meeting in his residence in Lokoja maintained the readiness of the party not only to retake power in Nigeria, but Kogi state in particular.
He urged the masses to relive their supports to PDP and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, saying the man was already tested and a trusted nationalist , and not a sub national giant like the opposition parties, stating that alot of good hands at the state level performed woefully at the National level.
The PCC Chairman said the poverty ridden template designed by the Atiku Abubakar led Nigeria, will bring a lasting succour both to the less privileged and the privileged in the society.
He asserted that the three opposition parties candidates were only sub national champions, that cannot be trusted with national assignment at this critical time.
The former Kogi Governor avered that our national heritage can not be subject to a learning process at all times, saying what Nigeria needed most now is the wealth of experience of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the good old days of PDP in the country.
He congratulated the people of Kogi state for been part of the envisaged change, with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the vanguard of the movement for a new Nigeria.
