The Kogi East Elders Forum KEEF has on Monday in Abuja endorsed , Muritala Ajaka of the Social Democratic party SDP to run for the 2023 Governorship election in Kogi.
While announcing the result of their assignment, the chairman of the committee, Arch. Gabriel Aduku, former minister and currently the chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum ACF ,said after exhaustive consultations with the candidates of the other political parties from the zone, they have agreed to step down for SDP candidate.
He said, the action of the candidate to step down for Muri was borne out of their love and commitment to the Igala/ Bassa cause, including prosecuting the forthcoming governorship election.
While calling on the candidates not to waiver in their support for the Igala/ Bassa and Kogi Cause urge the electorate to canvas for massive support for the candidate of the SDP.
