Kogi former Governorship aspirant, Adebanji Jimoh, tasks 10th NASS on sustainable Legislations, as Senator Karimi Hosts Constituents in Abuja.
The Members of the 10th National Assembly have been tasked to make sustainable laws that will change social economic and political challenges facing the country.
This is as he noted that he was confident of the capacity and experience of Senator Sunday Steve Karimu, Senator, Representing Kogi west Senatorial District, who have just been inaugurated, that will work assiduously for the growth and development of the zone and Kogi state
The former Aspirant on the platform of APC, Mr. Adebanji David Jimoh, a banker , gave the task on the sideline at a reception hoisted by the senator, Sunday Karimi held in Abuja on Tuesday to celebrate his inauguration as a member of the 10th NASS.
Hon. Adebanji Jimoh advised the senator to remember his campaign promises he made to the people of the West that he was going to carry their burden on his head through purposive legislative and oversight functions which will put smiles on the faces of the people of the zone.
He noted that with the experience and his performances in the Green chamber for two tenures, he is adequately equipped to deliver the good to the constituents.
” When Senator Sunday Karimi, was in the House of Representatives, we saw what he was able to do for the people. His landmarks are everywhere. During his time , Kogi west was on the map not only on the National but international maps.
” I’m confident that he will bring his experience from the lower chamber to bear in the upper chamber. I assure the people that the best time is here. I know Sunday very well. He is a crack and dynamic politician who will use every arsenal in his kitty to bring development to his people .
” Sunday knows how to use lobbying to strike a balance with the Executive, and with a pragmatic president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the saddle , Kogi west is in for better days. My appeal to the constituents is to give him maximum support to enable him accomplish his mandates.” He said.
